Access to the 360 video platform requires a user account. If you would like to discuss access for your organisation please
contact Kay O'Halloran.
If you have a slow Internet connection or you find the browser based player is not performing well
you might like to try a standalone Mac or PC video player. The players have all of the features
of the online web based player but also allow for video downloads and run faster since they aren't
running in your Web browser. Note that you will still require an Internet connection to run these players
since we need to authenticate you and also make sure you are running the latest version.
This video player has been developed as part of an Australian Technology Network funded project
exploring the use of 360 video in education. The project aims to improve the quality of student online experience
and enhance critical engagement with course content by developing a video player for viewing and
annotating 360-degree videos of learning activities and to develop and enhance a deep understanding of
learning processes and subject specific knowledge appropriate to the disciplines being taught.
More information on the project can be found on the related Curtin University Multimodal Analysis Group project page.
